Glenn's Cottage
Glenn's parents have a cottage on a lake in the Laurentians, on Lac Nominingue.  We've gone there a couple of times.  The french is a bit of a challenge, since I haven't used it since high school.  We pack our lunch into the little boat and go fishing for the day.  It's a good thing there are oars, since the motor was made in 1949.  Glenn's father is very good at making creative repairs.

The fish I caught

Glenn has a bit more luck catching fish that are big enough to eat.  But I have much more fun catching the bait.

Mmmm, dinner!
This Muskie weighed 6 pounds. One day we went fishing at a river nearby. It was raining, so we had the river to ourselves.  We only had two bites, but since we caught a nice trout, it was worth it.

Fishing for tadpoles

I was determined to catch some tadpoles, but they're surprisingly fast.  I caught a couple, and took them home to put in my pond.  Sadly, they didn't survive the hungry goldfish, so my pond doesn't have any frogs.
